About the Photographer

I'm Daniel, the photographer behind Rescue Photo. Photography has been part of my life for two decades. EMS has been part of it since 2021. Rescue Photo is where those two finally got to work together.

As an active AEMT, I work shifts at both an EMS-only agency and a combination fire and EMS district. I know what a good apparatus shot looks like because I've climbed on the rigs. I know how to photograph a crew because I've been on one. I understand the difference between a staged recruitment photo and a moment that actually shows what the work looks like, and I care about getting that difference right.

This work is about helping fire and EMS agencies tell their story with photos that feel true to the people in uniform, not a stock library version of them. If that's what your department is looking for, I'd love to talk.
